Never use less than minimum number of clips. Space clips 6 times the rope diameter. (i.e. 3/8" cable 2 1/4" apart). Using proper torque, tighten nuts properly. Be careful not to damage threads or clip base. Nuts should be retightened after initial load. Regularly inspect and retighten.
