The serving sleeve is used to secure the tail (dead end) of the cable to the live end. It makes a real neat job...eliminates the need for duct tape.

Staples provide steps on poles and trees. Do not clip onto Staples when climbing. They are only meant to be climbed on you must have a belay system or it is best to use Bolt Hangers as your anchor points.

Zinc Plated

Nicopress Zinc Plated Hourglass Copper Sleeves, Swages or Ferrules. No matter which name you prefer they are less work than cable clamps and make a much neater cable connection. The comparable sleeve must be used on each size cable/wire rope. The 3/8" Hand Swager is just the ticket to the installation of the 3/8" sleeves. You will need a hydraulic swager for the 1/2". We do not offer such a swager at this point.

Zinc Plated or Plain Copper

Stop sleeves are utilized on wire and synthetic rope to terminate in partial-tension applications.  A stop sleeve may be placed anywhere along the rope or cable but is most often used as an end-termination.
