We carry three different types of locking styles. Screw-gate which is self explanatory, and auto locking either 2-stage or 3-stage. 2-stage you twist the barrel and open the gate. 3-stage you have to pull down on the barrel, then twist it, and finally open the gate. We offer these style in certain steel and certain aluminum carabiners.

Petzl Am'D Pin-Lock Carabiner

Asymmetrical aluminum carabiner, unlocked with a tool

The Am'D PIN-LOCK asymmetrical aluminum carabiner is designed for use with groups. It secures the connection of the user thanks to its PIN-LOCK system, which can only be opened by the operator with a specific unlocking tool.

Description

Carabiner designed for use with groups:
- for fastening a SIMBA or OUISTITI children's harness (in combination with the CAPTIV positioning bar)
- to connect a trolley to a continuous lifeline
Secures the connection of the user:
- may be used with a CAPTIV positioning bar to favor loading of the carabiner along its major axis, to limit its flipping and to keep it integrated with the device
- PIN-LOCK locking system is unlocked only with a special tool, limiting the risk of the user opening the carabiner
Easy to use by the operator:
- Keylock system to avoid any involuntary snagging of the carabiner
- comes with two unlocking tools: for repeated manipulations, the unlocking pin can be installed directly on a glove; for immediate and occasional use, the unlocking ring can be kept on a carabiner on the harness and used when the monitor is not wearing gloves
- H profile protects markings from abrasion and ensures improved strength-to-weight ratio.

Lightweight asymmetrical carabiner

The Am’D lightweight asymmetrical carabiner is made of aluminum. It has a D shape particularly suited for connection to diverse equipment such as descenders or positioning lanyards. Its fluid interior design and Keylock system facilitate handling. The Am’D carabiner is available in four locking systems: automatic TRIACT-LOCK, TWIST-LOCK or BALL-LOCK system, or the manual SCREW-LOCK system. Am'D may be used with a CAPTIV positioning bar to favor loading of the carabiner along the major axis, to limit the risk of it flipping and to keep it integrated with the device.

The lightweight WILLIAM large-capacity asymmetrical carabiner is made of aluminum. It has a pear shape that is practical for easily connecting multiple items. Its fluid interior design and Keylock system facilitate handling. The WILLIAM carabiner is available in three locking systems: automatic TRIACT-LOCK or BALL-LOCK, or the manual SCREW-LOCK. Carabiner for progression lanyard

The VERTIGO WIRE-LOCK carabiner is designed for use on the ends of lanyards. Its excellent grip and automatic WIRE-LOCK locking system facilitate manipulations when passing intermediate anchors. The wide opening and the Keylock system allow the carabiner to be easily connected to the cable. The WIRE-LOCK system also increases the lifetime of the product when used intensively.
